On September 12th, the St. Monica Catholic Church community came together in joyful celebration to witness the Confirmation of seven of its members. With hearts full of gratitude, the congregation gave thanks to God for the outpouring of His grace upon these young individuals as they deepened their commitment to the faith. It was a significant and uplifting moment for the entire church, marking a pivotal step in the spiritual journey of those confirmed. The presence of Archbishop Thomas J. Rodi made the occasion even more special. His warmth and pastoral care resonated throughout the celebration, especially during his heartfelt homily. Archbishop Rodi reminded the confirmands that the purpose of the Christian life is to walk toward our Lord, embracing the world with grace and being witnesses to His love. He called on the youth to live a life of faith, grounded in love, and to be bearers of Christ's light in a world that needs it more than ever. As the day came to a close, the community gave thanks for this blessed occasion, praying for a good start to the new school year for all the students. The day was a reminder of the shared faith that binds the St. Monica community together, and the hopeful steps toward a future guided by God’s grace.
